Adam Robert Turner

Mr. Adam Robert Turner, age 26, of 2565 Cartersville Highway, Rockmart, GA passed away suddenly Saturday, July 11, 2009 at his residence.


Adam was born in Rome, GA on February 24, 1983 the son of James Eugene Turner and Deborah Colleen South Turner. He had lived all of his life in the Rockmart and Aragon area and had attended Rockmart High School. Adam had been employed as a cook for the Huddle House Restaurant in Rockmart and he was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father James Turner on April 29, 2001.


Survivors include a son, Troy Turner, Rockmart; mother, Debbie Turner, Aragon; sister, Jami Godbee, Rockmart; grandparents: Bobby and Nell Turner, Aragon and by his loving aunts, uncles and cousins.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Echols officiating. Interment will follow in the Aragon Cemetery.


Pallbearers will include: Lee Stringer, Travis Forrister, William Sisson, Bobby Carter, Steven Barber and Matt McDowell.


The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
