Amber Brookshire Weldon

Amber Brookshire Weldon, age 25, of Aragon, GA passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 in Cartersville, GA.

She was born in Rome, GA on January 1, 1988 the daughter of James Michael Brookshire and Tracy Jones Brookshire. Amber had lived the greater part of her life in Bartow County where she attended Woodland High School. She participated on the cheerleading squad at Woodland.

Survivors include her husband, Lamar Weldon, Taylorsville; two daughters: Aubrey Leigh Weldon and Abigail Grace Weldon, Taylorsville; father, James Michael Brookshire, Aragon; mother, Tracy Brookshire, Rockmart; half brother, Dylan Brookshire, Aragon; half sister, Lindsey Clay, Aragon; grandmother, Jean Brookshire, Aragon; uncles: Chuck Brookshire, Rockmart and Mack Jones, Douglasville and cousins: Kaylie Brookshire, Laycie Brookshire, Sky Jones and Jody Jones .

Memorial services will be held Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Garrett officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the memorial service.
