Annie Faye Henry Pinkard

April 30, 1916 — August 4, 2011

Mrs. Annie Faye Henry Pinkard, age 95, of Rockmart, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 following an extended illness.


Mrs. Pinkard was born in Carroll County, GA on April 30, 1916. Faye and her late husband, Rev. Homer Pinkard, spent their lives together in Rockmart where she was a homemaker most of her life. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Pinkard, daughter in law, Dianna Pinkard and a grandson, Lanny Pinkard.


She is survived by a sister, Lillian Gallagher, Las Vegas, NV; two sons, Tom Pinkard and his fianc? Diane Ray, and Lowell Pinkard and his wife LuAnn; two daughters, Elaine Stegall and her husband Don, and Tonya Crutchfield. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Tom Crutchfield, Lisa Acree, Jill McGoldrick, Julie Englert, Kyle Pinkard and Chris Freeman; twelve great grandchildren also survive.


Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the Bellview Baptist Church with her grandson, Rev. Tommy Crutchfield and Rev. James Coffman officiating. Interment will follow in the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.


Pallbearers will include: Logan Crutchfield, Kyle Pinkard, Joe Englert, Kevin McGoldrick, Brent Acree and Chris Freeman.


The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. At other hours the family can be reached at the home of Lisa Pinkard Acree, 18 Saddle Mountain Road Rome, GA.
