April Leatherwood Jolly

Mrs. April Leatherwood Jolly, age 46, of Conyers, GA and formerly of Rockmart passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019.

She was born in Rockmart, GA on September 15, 1973, a daughter of the late Willie B. Leatherwood and the late Bobbie Jean Leatherwood. April had lived the greater part of her life in Rockmart where she attended Rockmart High School. She loved to read and learn new things, especially about God. She always had a desire to go to Bible School but her greatest love was to listen to the hurts of others and encourage them and befriend them through their difficult times; especially people coming out of prison and addiction. April attended the New Life Praise Center.

Survivors include her three children: Chelsea Everett, Dalton, Emily Minter, Cedartown and Camille Jolly, Cedartown; six grandchildren; brother, Stephen Leatherwood, Rockmart; two nieces and nephews and a number of cousins also survive.

Memorial services will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Meeks officiating and Tracy Lewis delivering the eulogy.

The family will receive friends Friday, December 6, 2019 from 1:00 pm until the memorial hour at Victory Baptist Church.
