Christine F. Warren Wood

Mrs. Christine F. Warren Wood, age 84, of Cedartown, GA passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 at her residence.

She was born in Atlanta, GA on November 11, 1932 a daughter of John Henry Fleming and Agnes Irene Fleming. Mrs. Wood had lived the greater part of her life in the Douglasville area and was of the Full Gospel Denomination. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening and working with her flowers. Mrs. Wood was a former employee of the Crawford Company in Tucker,GA.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Wood in 1995; a son, Avery Paul "Buddy" Warren and nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her three children: Ruth Martin and husband Wayne, Cedartown, Gordon Warren and wife Lynne Fair Play, SC and Arch Warren and partner Ricky Smothermon, Lithia Springs; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren ; four sisters: Bertha Vaughn, Polly Clark, Sue Watley and Celia Sims; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Sunrise Memorial Gardens of Douglasville, GA with her son Mr. Gordon Warren delivering the eulogy.

The family has respectfully requested that flowers please be omitted.
