David Lee Ferguson

Mr. David Lee Ferguson, age 66, of Aragon, GA passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at his resicence.

He was born in Merced, California on November 14, 1947. Mr. Ferguson had been a resident of Aragon since 1994 moving here from California. He was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church of Floyd county and was an ordained Baptist mininster. Mr. Ferguson was a veteran of the United States Navy. He had been employed as a construction superintendent with Emory Adventist Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Ferguson on September 1, 2012.

Survivors include two daughters: Julie Lynn Romero, Dallas, GA and Sandra Garner, Rockmart; two grandchildren: Christopher Richard Romero and Brieana Marie Romero and two great grandchildren: Brandon Richard Ramero and Abrieanna Ramero.

In keeping with his wishes Mr. Ferguson was cremated.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the New Prospect Baptist Church, 1893 Booger Hollow Road, Lindale, GA with Pastor John Snipes officiating.
