Derek Charles Siniard

Mr. Derek Charles Siniard, age 36, of 321 Calloway Court, Rockmart passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008.


Derek was born in Rome, GA on March 15, 1972 a son of Jerry Siniard and JoAnn Swafford Siniard. He had lived all of his life in Rockmart where he attended Rockmart High School and worked in construction.


Survivors include two sons: Hunter and Hayden Siniard of Aragon; mother, Mrs. JoAnn Siniard, Rockmart; father, Mr. Jerry Siniard, Rome; two sisters: Mrs. Shawn Barnette and Mrs. Cyd Graham both of Rockmart; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.


Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Wigley officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.


Pallbearers will include: Ronnie Siniard, Shane Siniard, Chad Swafford, Greg Swafford, Kevin Swafford and Bryan Powell.


The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
