Donna Sue Barnette

Ms. Donna Sue Barnette, age 56, of 152 Creele Drive Lithia Springs, GA passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2009 in Douglasville following an illness of over a year.


She was born in Cartersville, GA on February 6, 1953 a daughter of Wilson Barnette and Betty Duncan Barnette. Ms. Barnette grew up in Cartersville and Atlanta area and attended Brown High School. At the time of her illness she was associated with Motel 6 of Marietta as assistant manager.


Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Michelle Arnold, Acworth; a son, Mr. Ronnie Rowland, Jr., Acworth; mother, Mrs. Betty Jean Slade, Acworth; sister, Cheryl Tant, Cartersville; brothers: Don Barnette, Sr., Cartersville, Billy Barnette, Dallas, Ricky Barnette, Cartersville, and Ronnie Barnette, Cartersville; three grandchildren: Michael Arnold, Amber Arnold and Sarah Rowland.


Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with family and friends delivering eulogies.


The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
