Edna V. Yarbrough

Ms Edna Virginia Yarbrough, also known as sister, age 77, of Cedartown, GA passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 in a Rome Medical Center.

She was born on September 8, 1935 a daughter of the late Gordon Ezzell Yarbrough and Alma Pope Yarbrough. Ms Yarbrough had lived all of her life in Polk County where she was a member of the Seney Baptist Church and a former employee of the Aragon mill.

Survivors include a sister, Linda Bradford; two brothers: Franklin Yarbrough and wife Nancy and Jr. Yarbrough and wife Brenda, all of Cedartown; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in the Yarbrough Family Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will include: Dwayne Yarbrough, Darryl Yarbrough, Danny Yarbrough, David Yarbrough, Lee Bradford and Darren Lee. Honorary pallbearers will include: Dan Yarbrough, Dylan Yarbrough, Dalton Yarbrough, Ryan Scoggins, Dustin Yarbrough, Tyler Scoggins, Jonathan Yarbrough, Jeremiah Yarbrough, Jacob Yarbrough and Darrell Woodward.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
