Ellon Brasher

Mrs. Ellon Brasher, age 65, of Rockmart, GA passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at her residence following a brief illness.

She was born in Atlanta, GA on January 20, 1950 a daughter of the late Fleming Walter Harrison and Edna White Harrison. Mrs. Brasher had been a resident of Rockmart for the past twenty one years moving here from Austell. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Marie Pagan on April 5, 2013 and by two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Brasher, Rockmart to whom she was married on June 18, 1983; son, John Pagan, Hiram; daughter, Tiffaney Powell, Rockmart; two step daughters: Charlotte Johnson, Ft. Payne, AL and Leann Brasher, Newnan; two brothers: Joe Harrison, Heflin, Al and Sidney Harrison, Canton; two sisters: Diane Russell, Villa Rica and Marcell Queen, Marietta; three grandchildren ,one great grandson and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Foley officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens of Douglasville, GA.

Pallbearers will include: John Pagan, Jonathan Taylor, Baris Hand, Doug Kreamer, Aaron Carter and Terry Maxwell.

The family will receive friends Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
