Elsie Argo Ferguson

Mrs. Elsie Argo Ferguson, age 94, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022.

Mrs. Ferguson was born on June 20, 1928 in Banning, GA, a daughter of the late Charlie Argo and Gladys Reynolds Argo. Elsie lived the greater part of her life in Rockmart and was retired from Engineered Fabrics. She was a member of Piedmont Avenue Baptist Church and had a great love for reading! Mrs. Ferguson was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry F. Ferguson who passed away on July 16, 1999; her sister, Geraldine Paschal and brother, Rev. Thomas Argo.

Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her loving children: Gail Bolt and Steve Ferguson (Susan); four grandchildren: Scott Ferguson, Melissa Bolt, Holly Ferguson and Blake Ferguson (Missy); four great-grandchildren: Larissa Bolt, Hadlee Caldwell, Zanna Beth Ferguson and Baker Ferguson; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Elsie Argo Ferguson will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM in The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Mrs. Ferguson’s grandson, Blake Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 12:00 PM until the service hour at 2:00 PM.
