Garry Shaun Roberson

Mr. Garry Shaun Roberson, age 40, of Taylorsville, GA passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019.

Shaun was born in Rome, GA on December 15, 1978 the son of Garry Wayne Roberson and Kathy Pritchett Roberson. He had lived all of his life in the Taylorsville area and was a 1998 graduate of Cass High School. He formerly worked as a fireman for the Rockmart Fire Department and later with the Bartow County Fire Department. Shaun enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his boys. He attended Victory Baptist Church where he was recently saved on August 8, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Charles and Mabel Roberson and Dewey H. and Reda Pritchett.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Lanier Roberson to whom he was married on May 27, 2016; two sons: Mason Levi Roberson and his mother Rhonda (Jason) Cochran and Grayson Lane Roberson; parents: Garry and Kathy Roberson; sister, Latonia Edge and her husband Chris; father in law and mother in law: Rusty and Lynn Lanier; brother in law, Jamie Lanier; niece and nephew: Ashley and Chandler Edge; grandmothers: Ruth Gentry and Freddie Wolfe; special friends: Billy and Willene Ward.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Cox and Rev. Barry Snapp officiating. Interment will follow in the Taylorsville Cemetery with Rev. Rusty Lanier officiating.

Pallbearers will include: Chris Edge, Chandler Edge, Billy Ward, Ricky Roberson, Jr., Jason Payne and Dewayne Fuqua. Honorary pallbearers will include: Cody Little, Payton Silvers, Todd Barnette, Tony Barnette, Shane West, Adam Stanley, Jamie Lanier, Danny Roberson, Jr., Carey Wolfe and all other firemen of the Bartow County Fire Department.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
