Glenda Faye Fincher Earwood

Mrs. Glenda Faye Fincher Earwood, age 80, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Earwood was born on June 23, 1941 in Cedartown, GA, to her late parents: Joshua Fincher and Eloise Quick Fincher. Glenda lived all her life in Rockmart and was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. She owned and operated Styles by Glenda for 50 years. She loved her work and her work family, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed quilting in her free time. Mrs. Earwood was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willard Earwood; brothers: Wayne and Randall Fincher; and sister, Vickie Smith.

Glenda is survived by her loving children: Sherry Woods and her husband, Don of Rockmart, GA, Judy Smith and her husband, Michael of Rockmart, GA, Sharon Williams and her husband, Gary of LaGrange, GA, Steve Earwood and his wife, Jill of Rockmart, GA; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Nancy Pinkard of Birmingham, AL, and Lynn Warren of Taylorsville, GA; 3 brothers: Wendell Fincher of Rome, GA, Billy Fincher of Rockmart, GA, and Richard Fincher of Rome, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Earwood will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 3:00 PM from The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brent Edwards officiating and the eulogy by Mr. Wendell Fincher. Interment will follow at Polk Memory Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Joshua Smith, Matthew Graham, Jason Graham, Benjamin Deaton, Draegon Earwood, Andrew Earwood, Josh Long and Frankie Earwood.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
