Harold Jeremiah (Jeremy) Moore

Mr. Harold Jeremiah (Jeremy) Moore, age 38, of 206 Hunter Street, Rockmart passed away Wednesday April 21, 2010.


Jeremy was born in Rockmart, GA on January 20, 1972 a son of Kenneth Harold Moore and Rosa Nell Cox Moore. He had lived all of his life in Rockmart, was a 1990 graduate of Rockmart High School and an employee of Nordic Cold Storage. Jeremy loved being outdoors, golfing with his son and brothers or fishing and hunting and NASCAR racing. He also loved gardening and working with flowers. Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold L. Cox and Mary Frances Cox and by grandfather, Dr. Harold H. Moore.


Survivors include his son, Trent Moore, Rockmart; parents: Kenneth and Rosa Moore, Rockmart; three brothers: Gabe Moore, Acworth, Jed and Dan Moore, Rockmart; grandmother, Mickey Moore, Rockmart; special aunt, Helen Cox, Rockmart; two uncles , two aunts and a number of cousins and nieces also survive.


Funeral services will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Minister C. Stephen Law officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.


Pallbearers will include: Kyle Pinkard, Matt Moore, Dutch Copelan, Jamie Crawford, Kelvin Ingle, Scott Parris, Mike Rudeseal and Jimmy Parker. Co-workers of Nordic will serve as honorary pallbearers.


The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
