Harold M. Johnson

Mr. Harold M. Johnson 80, of Rockmart passed away on Sunday February 15, 2015.

He was born February 23. 1934 in Forsyth County, GA a son of the late Hubert and Gertrude Johnson. Mr. Johnson moved to Rockmart seventeen years ago from Roswell, Georgia and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. He loved to garden , spend time working in the yard and playing golf.

Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents, wife Ellen Johnson, his two sons Steve Blalock and Johnny Johnson, five brothers and five sisters.

Survivors include two daughters: Jan Maxie, Rockmart and Angie Dover, Aragon; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson; a brother, Joe Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeal services will be held Thursday, February 19th. at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeal Home with Rev. Eddy Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Green Lawn Cemetery, Roswell, GA.

Pallbearers will include: Dwight Johnson, Casey Johnson, Eddie Fowler, Jimmy Johnson, Phillip Cash and Charles Johnson, Jr..

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
