Mr. Jerry Lee Duke, age 60, of Rockmart, GA passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020.

Mr. Duke was born in Dallas, GA on June 8, 1960, a son of the late James Washington Duke and the late Annie Searles Duke. Jerry had lived the greater part of his life in Polk County, and he was of the Baptist faith. He had a great sense of humor and put a smile on the faces of those he was around. Jerry was a former welder for Steel Sales.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: James Edward Duke, and Buck McSpadden; and two sisters: Sue Lambert, and Linda Brumbelow.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Duke, Rockmart, to whom he was married on May 21, 1982; two daughters: Jennifer Potts, Rockmart, and Jessica Bush (Sloan), Jacksonville, FL; son, Jared Duke (Heather), Rockmart; six grandchildren: Kennedy, Bruno, Jerri-Lynn, Serenity, Eli, and Felix; brother, Larry Duke, Rockmart; two sisters: Brenda Jones, Cartersville, and Anna Brown, Cartersville; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Brother Scooter Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and facial covering are recommended.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Jared Duke, Shane Hogan, Terry Cooper, Keith Hulsey, Addison Franks and Eric Jacobs.

The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Jerry Lee Duke.
