Juanita Quinton

Mrs. Juanita Quinton, age 82, of Centre, AL and formerly of Rome passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012.

She was born in Lindale, GA on March 10, 1930 a daughter of William Henry Stout and Addie Pearl Worley Stout. Mrs. Quinton moved to Centre, Alabama in 1988 from Rome, GA. She was a member of the Highway 9 Church of Christ of Piedmont, Alabama. She retired from Bell South in 1983 following a career of 31 years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Eugene Quinton, her son, Donald Glenn Quinton and a brother Charles Eugene Stout.

Survivors include her sister and brother in law, Lana and Jim Loudermilk of Newnan, GA as well as a number of nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Oak Hill Church of Christ with Ministers Tom Baxley and Alvis Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

The Elders and Deacons of Oak Hill Church of Christ will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the Oak Hill Church of Christ, 1500 Martha Berry Blvd., Rome, GA.

The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
