Kathy T. Blalock

Mrs. Kathy T. Blalock, age 62, of Rockmart, GA passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019.

She was born in Polk County, GA on December 23, 1956, a daughter of James Irvin Tillery and Evelyn Thompson Tillery. Mrs. Blalock had lived all of her life in Polk County and was a graduate of Rockmart High School. She enjoyed cooking and had a great love for traveling. Kathy was a member of the Aragon First United Methodist Church and was an employee of Polk County where she served as clerk to the Probate Judge.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Tillery; husband, Steve Blalock; and two brothers: Ricky and Randy Tillery.

Survivors include her son, Steven Blalock, Rockmart; mother, Evelyn Tillery, Aragon; brother, Larry Tillery (Laurise), Huntsville, AL; three sisters: Beverly Hughes (Jimmy), Rockmart, Gloria Seabolt (Roger), Cedartown and Linda Fuqua, Rockmart; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Blalock will be cremated and private graveside memorial services will be held in Rose Hill Cemetery.
