Keith Robert Tuschl

Mr. Keith Robert Tuschl, age 61, of Rockmart, GA passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013 at his residence following a brief illness.


He was born in Buffalo, New York on January 25, 1952 a son of the late Robert F. Tuschl and Adele Marie Bebber. Mr. Tuschl had been a resident of Rockmart since 1981 moving here from Decatur, GA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church and had been employed by the Georgia Power Company for thirty five years where he was a boiler turbine operator. Mr. Tuschl was preceded in death by a grandson Logan Ryan Holt.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Anderson Tuschl of Rockmart to whom he was married on February 14, 1981; three children: Tracy Holt, Cleveland, GA, Sabrina Cochran, Rockmart and Kerri Gaylor, Rockmart; two brothers: Kevin Tuschl, Smyrna, GA and Kenneth Tuschl, McDonough, GA; two sisters: Karen Harvil, Smyrna, GA and Kathy Spangler, Ooltewah, TN; six grandchildren also survive.


Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 12 noon in the New Prospect Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Davis, Mr. Marlin Tant and Rev. Todd White officiating. Interment will follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.


The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.


Pallbearers will include: Burlan Arnold, Danny Roberson, Jr., Timothy Cochran, Billy Cline, David Hendrix and Gary Dan Carter.


In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Food Bank of New Prospect Baptist Church.


The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
