Kenneth Irwin Scott, Sr.

Mr. Kenneth Irwin Scott, Sr., age 62, of Rockmart, GA passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019.

He was born in Seattle, WA on March 13, 1956, a son of the late Fred Scott and the late Annette Emerson Scott. Mr. Scott spent his childhood and young adult life in Seattle, moving to Georgia in the late 1970's. Two of his favorite past times were bowling and fishing. One thing about Mr. Scott, if you came in contact with him you instantly knew the love he had for other people. He was the example of what a people's person is about. Mr. Scott had many years of service with Delta where he served as a flight attendant.

Survivors include two sons: Kenneth Irwin Scott, II and James Daniel Jackson; three grandchildren; sister, Barbara Blake; brother, Fred Scott; and seven nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with his son, Kenneth Irwin Scott, II delivering the eulogy.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the memorial hour at the funeral home.
