Lucille Mcclure Reynolds

Mrs. Lucille McClure Reynolds, age 86, of Aragon, GA passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 in a Cedartown Healthcare Center following several years of declining health.

She was born in Huntsville, AL on October 5, 1928, a daughter of the late Grady McClure and Rosa Patterson McClure. Mrs. Reynolds had lived the greater part of her life in the Rockmart and Aragon area where she was a member of the Aragon United Methodist Church. She had worked as a nurse in Rockmart for Dr. Goldin and Dr. Marguson followed by a thirty year career as a nurse with Engineered Fabrics Corporation. After her retirement from Engineered Fabrics she worked as a nurse with Rockmart Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Hester and a brother, Houston McClure.

Survivors include a son, Darrell Smith and wife Diane; two grandchildren: Brian Smith and wife Sherrie and Jennifer Smith; two great grandchildren: Morgan Smith and Draven Smith all of Rockmart; one sister, Hazel Smith, Aragon; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Moss officiating. Interment will follow in the Aragon Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Phil Williams, Brian Smith, Draven Smith, Greg Smith and Terry Chapman.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
