Marilyn Juanita Whitley

Mrs. Marilyn Juanita Whitley, age 80, of Aragon, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022.

Mrs. Whitley was born on September 15, 1941 in Atlanta, GA. She is the daughter of the late Arthur White and Corine Waters White. Marilyn spent the greater part of her life in the Aragon and Taylorsville area and was Baptist by faith. She loved sewing and cooking. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Beth Bishop and her son, Matthew Owens.

She is survived by her loving husband, Marshall Whitley; 4 sons: Terry Owens, Keith Owens, Timmy Owens and Jody Owens; daughter, Cindy Westbrook; grandchildren: Ariel Bishop, Haley Harris, Charles Harris and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Lamar White and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial Services for Mrs. Whitley will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 4:30 PM in The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 3:30 PM until the service hour at 4:30 PM.
