Martha C. Eubanks

July 29, 1931 — June 27, 2010

Mrs. Martha C. Eubanks, 78, of Rockmart, GA formerly of Decatur passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010 at her home, surrounded by her family.


She was preceded in death by parents Mr. and Mrs. Tom Carter of Decatur, her brother William Carter of Ohio and her loving husband of 48 years, Tom Eubanks also of Decatur.


She is survived by her three daughters: Virginia Anne and Jerry Addison of Aragon, GA, Charlotte and Larry Boyd of Loganville, GA and Laurie Lovelace of Cartersville, GA; a son, Robert and Karen Eubanks of Griffin, GA; twelve grandchildren: Teri and Jason Morrow, Jason and Tabitha Adams, Maggi Gribble, Lisa and Chris Cooper, SPC Brandon Boyd and Randi Boyd, Brandi and Britt Bartley, Jared and Samantha Eubanks, Amanda Eubanks, Caleb Eubanks, Chris and Erin Jackson, Gerald and Samantha Jackson, SSgt. R. Gary and SrA Adrienne Jackson; fourteen great grandchildren; five step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren; brother in law, Hopie Eubanks; and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Stevie Waddell and Rev. Anthony Osborne officiating. Interment will follow Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Decatur Cemetery.


Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.


The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
