Martha Sue Mcalister Williams

Mrs. Martha Sue McAlister Williams, age 64, of Rockmart, GA passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 in a Rome medical center.

She was born in Cedartown, GA on January 10, 1949 a daughter of the late Lonnie Austin McAlister and the late Azilee Ridley McAlister. Mrs. Williams had been a resident of Rockmart all of her life where she was a member of the Piedmont Avenue Baptist Church. Prior to ill health she was an employee of Wal Mart.

Survivors include her three daughters: Stacy Fennell, Stefanie Williams and Shannon Williams all of Rockmart; a sister, Betty Waits Upton Osborne, Cedartown; and four grandchildren: Kayla Williamson, Ben Fennell, Jenna Adams and Christopher Williams.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. David Warriner officiating. Interment will follow in Rockmart Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will include: Jason Sanborn, Greg Waits, Scott Adams, Clark Jones, Mark Just and Scott Fennell. Lee Waters, Ramee Guy and Marion Hannah, Jr. will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
