Micah Campbell

Mr. Micah Campbell, age 32, of 242 Springdale Road Rockmart passed away Sunday, May 18,2008 in a Rome Medical Center following a two year illness.

Micah was born in Rome, GA on November 7, 1975 a son of Irvin and Marsha Queen Campbell. He had lived his entire life in Rockmart graduating from Rockmart High School in 1996. He was a member of the Piedmont Avenue Baptist Church and was employed as a shift lead cashier with Fast Food & Fuel. Micah was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Mr. Homer Campbell and by his maternal grandparents, Howard and Thelma Queen.

Survivors include his parents: Irvin and Marsha Campbell, Rockmart ; brother, Trace Campbell, Citrus Heights, California; grandmother, Virginia Campbell, the Beulah community; Uncle, J. Howard Queen, Rockmart; Aunt, Sharon Abernathy, Aragon; numerous cousins and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 23rd at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Hooper officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Quint Abernathy, Larry Abernathy, Trace Campbell, Shannon Holiday, Todd Queen, J. Howard Queen and Lee Wilson.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
