Nancy Jo Brooks

Nancy Jo Brooks, age 75, of Powder Springs, GA (Paulding County), passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015. She was born August 30, 1939, in Rockmart, GA, to the late Grover C. & Willene Cook and was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Brock. Mrs. Brooks retired after 19 years as a receptionist with Hardy Chevrolet and was of Baptist faith.

Survivors include husband of 56 years, James Wayne Brooks of Powder Springs, GA; daughter, Lesa (Russ) Brooks Scanlan of Mountain Grove, Missouri; brother, Franklin (Barb) Cook of Rockmart, GA; grandchildren, John Scanlan and Jessie Scanlan; niece, Kay Cook; nephew, Kirk (Beth) Cook.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015, at 11 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Joe Pritchard officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, from 5 PM until 8 PM.

Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
