Nancy Laura Brannon

Mrs. Nancy Laura Brannon, age 73, of Piedmont, AL and formerly of Rockmart passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

Mrs. Brannon was born in Rome, GA on August 20, 1948, a daughter of the late Thomas Arthur White and the late Ophelia Owens White. She had lived the greater part of her life in Rockmart and Piedmont where she was a member of the Piedmont Church of Christ. Nancy enjoyed traveling to the mountains, and loved quilting and collecting trinkets. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse where she worked for Piedmont Healthcare.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Rebecca Wear and Mitzi Wear Mears; two grandsons: Joshua Allen Yarbrough and Collin Mears; two sisters: Glenda White and Joan Freeman.

Mrs. Brannon is survived by her two daughters: Diane Yarbrough and her husband Allen, Lafayette and Regan Copelan and her husband Dutch, Aragon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby White; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brannon will be private.

Pallbearers will include: Allen Yarbrough, Matthew Yarbrough, Dutch Copelan, Will Copelan, Jason Freeman and Blainey Freeman.
