Ora Lee Tucker

Mrs, Ora Lee Tucker, age 77, of Rockmart passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 in a Rome medical center.

She was born in Rockmart, GA on July 31, 1938 a daughter of the late John Barker and Lillie Pope Barker. Mrs. Tucker was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church of Cedartown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred A. Tucker on November 17, 1999; by a granddaughter, Regina Tucker; by a brother, Raymond John Barker and by two sisters: Lelia Shaddix and Inez Barker.

Survivors include her five children: Jimmy Tucker, Rockmart, Billy Tucker and wife Donna Sue, Rockmart, Linda Martin, Euharlee, Wayne Tucker and wife Michele, Cartersville and Rev. Danny Tucker and wife Becky, Cedartown; twelve grandchildren: Kim Green, Christy Tucker, Jimmy Lee Tucker, Jr., Scotty Tucker, Angie Dunn, James Tucker, Sherri Martin, Cindy Harris, Kelly Holder, Brandi Lane , Sarah Jennings and Joshua Tucker; seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2105 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Shubert and Rev. Randy Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.

Active pallbearers will include: Jimmy Lee Tucker, Scotty Tucker, James Tucker, Joshua Tucker, Justin Caldwell and Lance Harris. Honorary pallbearers will include: Cody Holder, Cole Holder and Cal James.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
