Patricia Coker

Mrs. Patricia Diane Coker, age 61, of 565 Lane Street, Rockmart passed away Friday, June 25, 2010.


She was born in Rockmart, GA on June 27, 1948 a daughter of J.D. Baines, Jr. and Lena Millhollan Baines. Patricia had lived all of her life in the Rockmart area where she was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church. She was retired from Floyd Medical Center of Rome.


Survivors include her husband, Jerry Coker, Rockmart; two sons: Jerry C. Dover, Jr. and Billy Gene Dover and wife Trina all of Rockmart; two grandchildren: Autumn Dover and Cody Dover of Rockmart; one step son, Steve Coker, Rockmart; one step daughter, Dedra Coker, Rockmart; mother, Lena Robinson, Aragon; four sisters: Gloria Crumbley, Brenda Bowman, Gail Hunnicutt and Shirley Waits all of Aragon; three brothers: Jackie Baines, Rockmart, Wayne Baines, Rockmart and Ricky Baines, Aragon; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.


Funeral services will be held Monday, June 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Eddy Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in the Aragon Cemetery.


Pallbearers will include: Rickey Dover, Will Dover, Ryan Dover, Brian Lewis, John Lewis and Anthony Summerville. Greg Bowerman will serve as an honorary pallbearer.


The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.


The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Mrs. Patricia Diane Coker
