Patricia Sue Witt

Mrs. Patricia Sue Witt, age 75, of Rockmart, GA passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at her residence.

She was born in Aragon, GA on February 9, 1945 a daughter of the late Hezzie Bannister and Annie Mae Perkins Bannister. She had lived all of her life in Polk County and was a member of the Lake View Baptist Church. Mrs. Witt enjoyed gardening, taking cruises and she loved her nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She retired from Shaw Industries.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.

Survivors include a son, Robert Harold Witt, Jr.; sister, Glenda Langley and her husband Ray; and a number of loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Eddy Hughes and Rev. Jeff Carlton officiating. Interment will follow in the Aragon Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Mack Tallent, Robert Brannon, Bobby Bannister, Jr., Jeff Bannister, Eric Tallent and Jason Suits. Honorary pallbearers will include: James Langley, Steven Langley, Keith Odom, Bill Dean and Tony Maxwell.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3:00 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and facial coverings are recommended.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial gifts be made to the Lake View Baptist Church in her memory.
