Renea Campbell

Mrs. Renea Campbell, age 39, of 1336 Browning Road, Rockmart passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at her residence following an illness of a year and a half.


Renea was born in Floyd County, GA on September 16, 1968 a daughter of C.W. Garner and Ruth Kerr Garner. She grew up in the Tallapoosa, GA area and graduated from Haralson County High School in 1986. Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church located in Haralson County. Prior to her illness she worked with her parents and her sister at the Ideal Bakery located in Cedartown.


Survivors include her husband, Anthony Campbell to whom she was married on October 25, 1986; two daughters: Kelsey Campbell and Macie Campbell all of Rockmart; father and mother, C.W. and Ruth Garner, Tallapoosa; sister, Debbie Brown and husband Keith, Tallapoosa; father in law and mother in law, James and Lula Mae Campbell, Rockmart; two brother in laws: Tim and Roger Campbell both of Rockmart; sister in law, Annette Campbell, White, GA; two nephews: Jason Brown and wife Autumn and Dylan White.


Funeral services will be held Friday, August 29th at 1:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Baptist Church, Haralson County with Rev. Bobby Clark and Rev. Howard Locklear officiating. Interment will follow in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery, Haralson County with Rev. Gerald Sloman officiating.


Mrs. Campbell will lie instate at the church Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.


Pallbearers will include: Tim Deems, Travis Martin, Randy Redden, Hoyt Alred, Kevin Owens and Gerald McPherson.


The family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.


In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to a trust being established at the First National Bank of Polk County for the benefit of Mrs. Campbell?s daughters.


The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Mrs. Renea Campbell.
