Richard John Andrews

Mr. Richard John Andrews, age 47, of Aragon, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023.

Mr. Andrews was born on June 19, 1975, in Angola, IN, to his parents, Richard Andrews and Carol Murk. He spent his early life in Indiana and the past 5 years in Polk County. Richard attended 101 Church. He worked for most of his life as a truck driver before he went to work for Tip Top Poultry in water waste management. Richard enjoyed riding motorcycles, his music and spending time with his family.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Andrews and Carol Murk.

He is survived by his children, Auburn Andrews, Hudson Andrews and Ashley Andrews; grandson, Huxley Whatley and multiple brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Richard will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Pastor James Cordell officiating and a eulogy by his daughter, Auburn Andrews. Interment will follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Richard's family will receive friends Thursday afternoon at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will include Chase Walls, Hudson Andrews, Shane Cash, Patrick Smith, Corbin Whatley, and Ryan Underwood.
