Ricky Honaker

Mr. Ricky Honaker, age 45, of Cedar Bluff, VA passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 in a Chattanooga, TN hospital.

He was born on December 13, 1974 in Richlands, VA a son of the late Marshall Edward Honaker, Sr. and the late Alice Catherine Thompson Honaker. Ricky had lived all of his life in the Richlands, VA area where he worked as a counselor for Clinch Valley Community Action. He loved his family and working with children. Ricky enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach, music and dancing.

Survivors include a sister, Suzie Copley, Rockmart; two brothers: Larry Steven Vandyke, Cedartown and Junior Honaker of VA; nieces and nephews: Jessica Little, Bluefield, W. VA, Christina Thompson, Bluefield, VA and Kevin Vandyke, Cedartown.

In keeping with his wishes Mr. Honaker was cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
