Ronald Bruce Privett

Mr. Ronald Bruce Privett, age 68, of Rockmart, GA passed away Friday, May 4, 2012 in a Rome medical center.

Bruce was born in Modesto, California on August 9, 1943 a son of the late Albert Marvin Privett and Annie Lorene Bruce Privett. He had been a resident of Rockmart the greater part of his life and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Privett was a former employee of the Goodyear Mill and later worked for the City of Rockmart Public Works Department. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters: Shirley Ann Privett Edwards and Janie Faye Privett.

Survivors include a daughter, Stacey McCormack and her husband Woody of Cartersville and a son, Bruce Lee Privett, Rockmart. Two grandchildren: Mason McCormack and Jessica McCormack both of Cartersville.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Charles Dyer officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
