Ronald "Ronnie" Eugene Taylor

Mr. Ronnie Taylor, age 68, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021.

Mr. Taylor was born on December 1, 1952 in Atlanta, GA, to his parents: Joe Franklin Taylor and Jewell Smith Taylor. Ronnie spent the greater part of his life in Polk County. He was self employed as a painter. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and telling jokes. He also enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren and spending time with his family. Mr. Taylor was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 2 brothers: Thomas Taylor and Ken Taylor and his sister, Brenda Allen.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his loving wife whom he married on June 1, 2014, Julie Taylor, 6 children: David Snell, Sarah Ellison, Teresa Snell, Tossa Taylor, Daniel Snell and Charmin Lanagan. 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers: David Taylor and Randy Taylor and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Mr. Taylors wishes, his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM in The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with eulogies given by family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on November 11, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to help with Mr. Taylors final expenses.
