Ruby Nell Winters Mooneyham

Mrs. Ruby Nell Winters Mooneyham, age 82, lifelong resident of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Wednesday March 17, 2021. She was born on November 26, 1938 in Rockmart, GA, to her late parents: J.B. Winters and Verdie Weathington Winters. Mrs. Mooneyham was retired from Sewell Manufacturing, where she had worked as a seamstress and was a faithful member of Yorkville Baptist Church. Ruby loved working in her garden, being outside and spending time with her cherished grandchildren. Mrs. Mooneyham was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charlie E. Mooneyham who passed away on August 8, 2013 and her granddaughter, Melissa Ann Hicks.

Mrs. Mooneyham is survived by her loving children: Debra Cash and her husband, Oscar, Ricky Mooneyham and his wife, Laddina and Scott Mooneyham and his wife, Cathy, grandchildren: Brian Hicks, Joshua Mooneyham and Rebecca Mooneyham, brother, Jerry Winters and his wife, Stella, sisters: Barbara Walker and Gladys Hulsey and her husband, Jimmy and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruby Nell Winters Mooneyham will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM at The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Draketown Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Joshua Mooneyham, Brian Hicks Hughes, Jimmy Hulsey, Brad Walker, Chris Cash and Terry Winters .

The family will receive friends at the funeral home for a visitation on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM.

The family respectfully asks that masks be worn and that social distancing is practiced.
