Russell Dwayne (Rusty) Carter

Mr. Russell Dwayne (Rusty) Carter, age 56, of Cedartown, GA passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019.

He was born in Lithonia, GA on December 2, 1962, a son of the late Clyde Russell Carter and the late Helen Rebecca Bradford Carter. Mr. Carter lived the greater part of his life in Polk County. Rusty loved to work and enjoyed spending time tinkering on old cars. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters: Tracy Carter and Rhonda Bevel.

Survivors include his fiance, Barbara Nichols, Cedartown; two children: Amber Carter and Seth Carter; one grandchild; two brothers: Donnie Carter, Aragon and Steven Carter, Cedartown; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Carter was cremated and memorial services will be held at at later date.

The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory of Rockmart is in charge of cremation services for Mr. Russell Dwayne (Rusty) Carter.
