Sandra Campbell Mcelheney

On Friday, March 12th,2021, Sandra Campbell McElheney, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord at age 80.

Sandra was born November 22,1940 to the late Joe and Nobie Campbell. She married Ronald McElheney on July 29,1961. She was a loving mother of four children:Stacey, Rhonda, Ronnie, and Sandi. She was a grandmother of 7, and a great-grandmother to 5, all of whom she loved unconditionally and without ceasing. She was a breast cancer survivor and overcame many obstacles through her life and stayed strong through it all. She retired from Engineering Fabrics (Meggitt) and was a charter member of Victory Baptist Church. Sandra was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Campbell, and niece Lorrie Campbell.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Ronald McElheney; children: Stacey Yarborough, Rhonda Jones (Dan), Ronnie McElheney (Debra), and Sandi Smith (Robyn McCord); grandkids: Dustin Yarborough (Heather), Kristen Maxedon (Patrick), Amanda McElheney, Evan Jones, Ryan McElheney, Kalli Fandry (Clay), and Avery Jones; great-grandkids: Sophie, Gibson, Ellie, Cainen, and Baby Maxedon.

Funeral services for Mrs. McElheney will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan McElheney and Rev. Barry Snapp officiating. A eulogy will be given by Dustin Yarborough. Interment will follow in Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until the service hour at Victory Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will include: Dustin Yarborough, Evan Jones, Clay Fandry, Avery Jones, Patrick Maxedon, Gevin Johnson, and Trent Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers are: Gibson, Sophie Cainen, and Ellie.
