Sylvia Ingle

Mrs. Sylvia Arlene Ingle, age 58, of Aragon, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 at her residence.

She was born in Polk County, GA on October 18, 1953, a daughter of the late Herman Roberson and the late Dorothy Robinson Roberson. Mrs. Ingle had lived all of her life in the Rockmart-Aragon area and was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church. She was a great housewife and loved taking care of her family. She also loved working with flower arrangements.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Kathy Roberson.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Wayne Ingle, to whom she was married on July 17, 1968; four children: Jimmy Wayne Ingle, Jr., Aragon, Amy Ingle, Aragon, Tyler Ingle, Aragon and Tracey Ingle, Aragon; three grandchildren: Jimmy Ingle III, Rockmart, Brittany Jacobs, Cedartown and Donald Jacobs, Jr., Cedartown; two sisters: Jo Ann McAuley, Rockmart and Pauly Dover, Newnan; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in Oak Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Archie Streetman, Rev. Tim Deems and Rev. Charles Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Michael Dover, Steven Dover, Cory Horton and Chris Hindmon.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
