Tanner James Brinkley

Mr. Tanner Brinkley, age 23, of Lindale, GA passed away Monday, February 18, 2019.

Tanner was born in Rome, GA on July 6, 1995. He had lived in Floyd County all of his life where he attended Johnson Elementary School, graduated from Model High School in 2013 and had attended Georgia Northwestern Technical College. Tanner was a team leader at Elder's Ace Hardware in Rome where he had been employed for the past five years.

He is survived by his mother, Leanna Brinkley Sabin and his step father, Jeremy of Kingston; grandparents, William (Bill) Brinkley and Carolyn Harrison Brinkley, Rome; brothers, Spencer Sabin, Kingston and James Brinkley and his wife Clarissa, Rome; nephews: Preston Brinkley and Asher Brinkley and niece, Greta Brinkley all of Rome.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Oak Hill Church of Christ with Minister Michael Farris and Elders Lucian Harris and Steve Murdock officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 am until the service hour at the Oak Hill Church of Christ, 1500 Martha Berry Blvd. Rome.

The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory of Rockmart is in charge of arrangements.
