Todd Elliott

Mr. Todd Elliott, age 42, of Browning Road Rockmart passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 in a Rome medical center.


He was born in Rome, GA on May 24, 1971 a son of J.C. Elliott and Margie Strickland Elliott. Todd had lived all of his life in Rockmart and was a 1991 graduate of Rockmart High School. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Prior to ill health he was employed as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by grandparents: Lovie and Bonell Elliott and Irene Millen Strickland.


Survivors include his parents: J.C. and Margie Elliott, Rockmart; three brothers: Terry Elliott, Rockmart, Tracy Elliott, Cedartown and Travis Elliott, Rockmart; grandfather, James Strickland, Cedartown and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Parris officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.


Pallbearers will include: Tim Campbell, Johnny Woods, Michael Baines, Steve Strickland, Ray Ballard, Ronnie McElheney, Todd Tyson and Austin Fowler.


The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
