Tom Bradley Goss

Mr. Tom Bradley Goss, 59, of Cedartown, entered heaven on February 12, 2016. He was born October 24, 1956, in Cedartown, the son of the late Tom Boaz Goss and Carolyn Brooks Goss. He was a member of St. Bernadette's Catholic Church.

Brad previously was employed by Hon Industries and Cedartown Paperboard in customer service and sales. He resided for twenty years in Frisco, Tx and was employed as a Fifth Grade teacher for the Frisco School District. Upon returning to Cedartown, he worked as a technology assistant for Polk School District.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Kerry Redding Goss, and a beloved aunt, Jean Brooks Elrod.

He is survived by his son, Tom Boaz Goss, of St. Louis, Mo. He is also survived by his sisters: Shelby (Terry) Nichols, Brooke (David) Ferguson, and Carol Lynn Goss all from Cedartown. His nieces and nephews, who also survive, are Pete Hutchings, Laurie Brumby, Cody Nichols, Joey Rice, Kim Rice-Lo, Jason Rice, and Jennifer Wetherington. A number of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins also survive.

Brad will be remembered by his loved ones for his kind disposition, joyful nature, and charitable spirit. Brad was not only a teacher of the community but most of all for his family. Brad played an essential role in the lives of every member of his family: teaching, supporting, and loving each and every one.

In accordance with his wishes, Brad was cremated. A funeral mass will be at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Timothy Gallagher officiating and eulogy given by Mr. Jason Rice. A private family burial will be conducted at a later date.

The family has requested that flowers be omitted and that memorial contributions be made to St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 101 South College St., Cedartown, Ga.
