Tommy Lewis Hudgins Sr.

Mr. Tommy Lewis Hudgins, Sr. age 67, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Tommy was born on June 7, 1954 in Pine Mountain, GA, a son of the late, J.L. Hudgins and the late Martha Bell Farr Hudgins. Tommy spent the greater part of his life in Polk County, where he was a self employed painter and was Baptist by faith.

In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelly Lee Hudgins; and by his sister, Janie Lynn Reeves.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Hudgins of Cedartown, to whom he was married in June of 1973; son, Lewis Hudgins and his wife Christy, Aragon; two grandsons: Cameron and Ryan Hudgins; brother, John Rufus Hudgins, Centre, AL; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 26, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Boatner officiating and a eulogy given by Darrell Holloway. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will include: Darrell Holloway, Cameron Hudgins, Ryan Hudgins and Rodney Bradford.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
