William S. Brandon, Iv

Mr. William S. Brandon, IV, age 34, of Taylorsville, GA passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Rome, GA.

He was born in Marietta, GA on July 9, 1986 a son of William S. Brandon, Sr. and Rosemary Siy Brandon. He had been a resident of Taylorsville the greater part of his life and was a member of the Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church. William enjoyed motorcycles and mechanic work. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 2007 to 2010 in Germany and Iraq. Prior to becoming disabled he was a truck driver for Swift Transportation.

Survivors include his parents William S."Bill" Brandon, Sr. and Rosemary S. Brandon, Taylorsville; two brothers: Duke Masters Brandon and Jake Samson Brandon both of Chattanooga, TN; maternal grandmother, Rosana Tan, Manila, Philippines; and Godfather, Steve Harris, Taylorsville.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Honor Guard of Brown-Wright Post # 12 of the American Legion.

Pallbearers will include; Steve Harris, Josh Snow, Duke Brandon, Jake Brandon, William Wade, Tim Williams, Timothy Williams, Lance Wood, Chad Thomas and John Redd.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon until the service at the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines are to be applied and masks are recommended.
