William Samuel Hobgood

William Samuel Hobgood, 65, of Danielsville, formerly of Rockmart, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at his daughter's home.

Mr. Hobgood was born in Gordon County, Georgia, August 13, 1946, to the late William Issac Hobgood and Bonnie Kate Fouts. He was Baptist by faith.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Sheila Mercer of Homer, Tammy Mercer of Danielsville, and Debra Bennet of Commerce; siblings, Ruth Bradley of Acworth, Jimmy Hobgood of Canton, and Dorthy Watson of Ranger; and seven grandchildren.

The family has chosen cremation and no services are scheduled at this time.
