Yvonne Hill Martin

Ms. Yvonne Hill Martin, age 76, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Yvonne was born on May 6, 1946 in Morrow, GA, to her parents: Percy A. Hill and Addie Bell Leslie Hill. Ms. Martin had lived in Atlanta before returning to Cedartown four years ago. She was a graduate of Cedartown High School and had worked for KFC as a manager for many years. Ms. Martin was member a of Friendly Baptist Church in Cedartown and had operated a prayer line for several years, having journals full of people she would pray for every day. She loved coloring, cats and being a member of TOPS.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Richard Blackmon, Jr.

She is survived by her loving cousins: Ronnie Rogers, Shelia Rogers, Cathy Rogers, Joyce Takei and Linda Dawson.

In keeping with her wishes, Ms. Martin will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at Friendly Baptist Church at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 11,2023 with Rev. Randy Vines officiating.
