Mrs. Alice Daisy Niles, age 77, of Rome, GA passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 in a Rome health care facility.
She was born in Chattanooga, TN on July 13, 1938, a daughter of the late Albert Golden and Lillian Fair Golden. in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters: Mary Elizabeth Barnes, Eugene Golden, Laura Benjamin, Lillian Picken and David Golden; and one step sister, Evelyn Bearden.
Survivors include she son, Steve Carter and his wife Cindy, Ft. Oglethorpe; three grandchildren: Jayme (Reed) Dills, Ringgold, Joy Carter, Ft. Oglethorpe, Jill (Kevin) Lawler, Chickamauga; five great grandchildren: Addi and Sam Dills, Clayton and Kinsley Lawler and Marlee-Kate Carter; sister, Dorothy Ann Fullam, Rossville.
In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Niles was cremated and no formal service are planned at this time.
The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Alice Daisy Niles.
