Mrs. Annette Maxwell, age 90, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Wednesday morning, August 5th, 2026.

Annette was born on June 12, 1936, in Rockmart, GA, to the late Carey Hawkins and the late Gladys Robinson Hawkins. A lifelong resident of Rockmart, she was a member of Aragon Baptist Church and had previously attended Piedmont Avenue Baptist Church for many years. Annette found great joy in reading and was an avid football fan. Watching football was one of her favorite pastimes, and she especially looked forward to cheering on her favorite teams from the comfort of her home.

In addition to her parents, Annette was preceded in death by her sister, Marguerite Hawkins; and her brother, Paul Edward Hawkins.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Lesia Williams, and Lori Buckner; her 2 grandchildren, Reece Williams, and Abbey Coultas (John Michael); and 1 great grandson, Oliver Wesley Coultas.

Memorial services for Annette will be held on Sunday, August 9th, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Davidson officiating.
