Archie Ollie Streetman

Elder Archie Ollie Streetman, age 81, of Dallas, GA passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022.

Archie was born in Cashtown, GA on January 6, 1941, a son of the late James Thomas Streetman and the late Lois Cash. Mr. Streetman had lived in the Rockmart area all of his life where he was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church. He will be remembered as being a great Baptist preacher as he served many churches. He had a great love for the Church and his church family. Archie also enjoyed gardening and working in his yard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers; three sisters; and his great-grandson., Trent Brooks.
Survivors include his loving wife of fifty nine years, Marlene Streetman, to whom he was married on July 14, 1962; son, Thomas Earl “Tito” Streetman; daughter, Juanita Maxine “Nita” Miller and her husband Billy; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Oak Ridge Baptist Church with Elders Herschel Tibbitts, Colt Deems, Charles Sutton and Tim Deems officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Streetman will lie in state at Oak Ridge Baptist Church on Thursday from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour.

Pallbearers will include: Olin Streetman, Travis Causey, Everett Sutton, Tommy Streetman, Jack Streetman, and Randy Streetman.

Honorary pallbearers will include all Ordained Ministers and Deacons of the New Hope Baptist Association.

Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Elder Archie Ollie Streetman.
