Baby Dixie Kayd Jones, infant daughter of Chris and Kaylie Jones, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025
Dixie Kayd was preceded in death by her grandmother, Tangie Brookshire, great-grandfathers, Jerry Davis, Jere White, Jimmy Barron, and James Brookshire, great-grandmothers, Kathleen Barron and Joyce Benefield.
Dixie Kayd is survived by her parents, Chris and Kaylie Jones; sisters, Ellie Kayte Jones and Lilah Grace Jones; grandparents, Chuck Brookshire and Kelley White, and Linda and Ricky Jones; great-grandparents, Carolyn White and Jean Brookshire; aunts and uncles, Laycie (Jonathan) Brookshire, Kohl White, and Rickey (Stephanie) Jones; cousin, Doc Ernest. Many great-aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Graveside and interment services for Dixie Kayd will be held on Friday afternoon, March 28, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Ricky Jones and Rev. Levi Wyatt officiating.
Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of the arrangements for Baby Dixie Kayd Jones.
